十大碗粥麵專家 (English name: Ten Noodle Shop) serve wonton noodles in the Prince Edward area. They have another branch in Mong Kok. The place is tidy and a bit more modern in design with photos and artwork of the the noodles.  A bit different than the usual old school wonton noodles places.Menu is in Chinese only. There is no 10% service charge and no photos of their food. They have a jar of home made pickled daikon on each table. Quite good and a bit spicy from the chilli peppers added. A good palate

Boyfriend had the zha jiang lo mein ($42) as he wanted a bit more noodle. The noodles were springy but there just wasn't enough sauce in the meat topping to coat the noodles well. The soup was decent with a nice hint of fish and shrimp.

I had the wonton noodles ($33). A fairly decent portion as most the of famous ones are super tiny. There were four wontons found in my bowl. The wontons were decent size and the shrimp fresh with a bit of pork meat. The noodles were springy. My only complaint is the soup was pretty terrible. It was far different than boyfriend's soup and mostly tasted of MSG.

I love deep fried dace fish balls and I noticed I could order two for $20. This is good as boyfriend hates it and I often can't finish a full 6 balls like most places. I liked I could order a small single portion. The balls were interesting as they covered them in noodles before deep frying them to make them extra crunchy. The meat was fresh and there weren't a lot of bones. The dipping sauce was extra salty and very umami.

The noodles were ok but the dace fish balls were fantastic. I don't think I'd be back but if I did, I think I'd only want the fish balls.
