i've been to this restaurant once back when it was still located on bowring street, but today i decided to come here because why not, i've missed it anyway. i ordered lamb chops with mixed vegetables which was a lunch set, so soup and a drink were included. i'm not a fan of mushrooms, so i'm not one to judge their mushroom soup, but my brother who's a mushroom lover really liked the soup, so it ought to be good. next up, the star of the meal, the lamb chops. the mixed vegetables were delicious, i was given green beans, zucchini, carrots and mushrooms (which i gave my brother), and i loved the veggies. i didn't get to choose how well cooked i wanted my lamb chops, so they were a bit overcooked to me. however, i still liked them so i'm not complaining. the meat was still tender and juicy, but there was quite a lot of fat. the sauce (gravy?) was alright, nothing special, but not bad. for $95, i'd say this was an excellent meal. will definitely come back for more 😋
side note: it took quite some time for the food to arrive, but you gotta wait for good food 🤷🏻‍♀️ and the waiter looked shocked when i asked for mixed vegetables as the side but well that happens 😂
