I celebrated my birthday yesterday - and had a super experience.

Ambience : quite stylish - nice bar - window seating - they also have a teppayaki table for private functions (I actually had attended someones party there once earlier but thats requires a seperate review)

Service - very friendly quick and cheerful staff - very helpful in explaining the dishes/portions.

Food : I sampled 8 dishes - The standouts were

Roast baby pork - tender succulent  juicy - perfect.
King prawns - grilled  in butter.
Chorizo in white wine- the sauce is so delicious to dunk your bread into later.
Potato frittata yum!
Iberico ham corquettes - just melt in your mouth - super!
Bread with olive oil and tomoatoes - feel so fresh - we ordered one more plate to go with all the delicious food.
Deep fried calamari -Not a standout but still nice as it had a beer batter. (I still liked it but it wasnt as great as the above other dishes)
Iberica Ham and Manchego cheese to finish the night .. I have tried Spanish ham in several places but there is something about their ham which makes it stand apart - they say its free range pork, dark hair pigs who are fed acorns - well it definitely makes a difference to the taste of the meat

Very attractive  pricing  - in fact this place is  perfect setting - private enough to enjoy your dinner - yet convenient location and great casual/formal (if you want it to be) dining which does not break the bank. I will keep coming back to try their other dishes - the menu had some very intersting choices to try next time.

I ordered too much for 2 of us  my spending was about 350$ each (excluding wine) but I think we could have had 6 dishes between two of us would have been enough - so i thnk spenidng is roughly 250-300$ for a great gourmet dinner
