First came the two salads which were prepared well and with just the right amount of dressing.
Next came the two soups. No problems there.
However, after a long wait, the appetizer arrived and confused us. It was served in one large bowl with one serving spoon. But there were two of us. We didn't know if there would be another one coming. No, we were supposedly to share it. Fine. But the soup bowls (well, large plates) were still sitting on the table waiting to be cleared. Not only did the waitress have to be asked to remove the soup plates, but also to bring us two new plates for us to split the appetizer. (How else did she think we were to eat it?) So, she removed the soup plates, placed the dining plates on the table ... and then put back our used soup spoons on our new plates! It was a tasty appetizer, but it was all very confusing.
With appetizers done, the waitress came to remove our plates to make way for the main courses - this time removing the soup spoons AND MY FORK! I had to ask for a new one.
The pizza I ordered was very good, and the mushroom dish my friend ordered was out of this world!
But the surprises didn't end there - the lemon water I'd ordered wasn't available, since they HAD RUN OUT OF LEMONS! But, we were among the first tables at 7pm. How come the staff couldn't run to buy lemons during the afternoon down time?
For the price they are charging, the untrained service puts a damper on an otherwise pleasant meal.
