Recently there are lots of promotions for dining in hotels. Having boughtthe time-limited coupons from the hotel in March, we can finally make reservation online for high tea in May. Upon our arrival, we need to take lift to 103/f first and change lift to go to other floors. However, the receptionist on 103/f told us the seats on 102/f are fully occupied and we were arranged to sit in Cafe 103 on 103/f even we had made the reservation. We were so disappointed as there are no views and the environment looked gloomy. As the famous part of the tea here is the signature sea view, we asked the waiters again to see if we could change back to sit in the Lounge and Bar. Later we were finally informed that we could change back to 102/f.
It’s totally another world in the Lounge and Bar. The decoration and atmosphere were stunning. The sea view was really great and stunning that we had taken lots of photos and we had only one hour left for eating.
The food was delicious with a wide variety of savories and mini confections.
They were not too sweet and the cakes were fresh. The prawn bread was very nice and the scone is great!
The stunning view was really worthy and that’s why the restaurant was so famous. The service is good too and they replenished tea promptly. Regardless of the disappointment at the beginning, the afternoon tea here was indeed very good and the view was really splendid.
