Had brunch here during the Typhoon day and it was packed. The service was a bit slow on the drinks (waited for about 15 minutes to get iced tea and iced coffee) however the food came out quite quickly. Had a cup of corn soup which came with 2 pieces of bread and it was outstanding. The soup was nice and sweet with bursts of fresh corn taste. I loved it especially on a gloomy typhoon day. Also decided to order the grilled chicken salad with avocado and bacon. Dressed very nicely, ok portion of
Friends ordered the spinach salad which had a generous amount of blue cheese on it and bacon, and the other friend ordered a carbonara pasta that looked and smelled delicious (but heavy). We also splurged on the cheeses (since this is a cheese shop) and got to experience the cheese fridge upstairs. Not a huge fan of cheese, however if I was, I am sure this is the place to be.
Overall, great joint to relax and read the paper. Nice cozy atmosphere and good food.
