Since their promotion Laksa with Boston Lobster was on discount and looked quite stunning, I decided to try it.The food first, the laksa tasted very rich and the noodles were cooked just right without being too soggy. The soup was rich without being too spicy. The lobster was very large and there was a lot of lobster meat inside. However, the service was fair. However, the service was fair.
First, there were PLENTY of seats in the restaurant(half of it was empty) but they had to make me sit with another lady in another small table. I totally understand if your restaurant is packed, you need to have such arrangement but if it isn't, maybe you can let your customers sit more comfortably. From the photo you can see after putting the bowl of noodle down, there was not much room for anything else, eg. another plate where I can put aside the lobster/lobster shell.
Second, they didn't give me either a plate for the lobster shell or the tool to crack the lobster shell. I had to ask them for one but then even the staff had difficult putting it down due to the small table size, echoing my first point.
Last of all, when I was finally able to finish it all and ordered the bill, they combined the bill of the other lady with mine and took quite some time to correct it while I was in a hurry. AGAIN this echoes my first point that none of this would have happened if you let me sit at a separate table alone when you had PLENTY of seats, eg. half the restaurant.
Other Info. :
Great Laksa, please allow your customers to sit comfortably if you have PLENTY of seats, like eg. when half your restaurant is empty.
