I chose Frites because I was looking for a family friendly restaurant near Soho. So many restaurants are just not equipped with high chairs or the casual experience one needs with an infant. I don't often bring my little one out at dinner time, especially on a Saturday, but i was pleasantly surprised that the play area and a room almost exclusive for families was available even at 6pm. My infant is too young for the play area but I was able to bring some of the food themed toys to the table to entertain her when she was getting restless. I came equipped with toys but new things to explore are always a plus. I was provided with a large bowl of hot water to heat her food and the staff were extra diligent to hold this for us on the next table to avoid an accident. The food was good too. I had the Salmon with soba noodles and it was a really generous portion of salmon and tasty noodles. The only negative was the time it took to pay at the end because we were somewhat forgotten in the seperate dining room.
Other Info. : Play area and high-seats are great for families.
