Having been recommended to try out this dining experience for a birthday, we were presently surprised with what this restaurant had to offer. From the dining menu available, we tried various items for starter such as the Beef tongue which was very succulent, and Miso black cod which was reminded me what fish should taste like after a year of Covid! From the main course I opted for the Wagyu striploin which was tender, juicy and seasoned very well. The chef's opinion of a few sprinkles of flakey salt was a suggestion that was well received. (The kind you would expect from a fine-dining restaurant, as too often many other restaurants are only keen on getting you out the restaurant!) Normally, I would prefer no seasoning at all to taste the beef in its raw form, but having gone with the recommendation, you can clearly tell the chef knows his stuff and has a passion in his art! The additional seasoning did bring out the flavor and complimented the meat well, being seared well on both sides whilst retaining the juices of the beef!
Progressively, there are also a beef marinade and sesame sauce option to try, but for me personally I find that they cloud the taste of the beef!
The serving per portion was fine, and I would think that anyone asking for a bigger portion would probably be visiting the wrong type of restaurant.
Furthermore, the waiting time to be tabled and serving times were very reasonable. All-in-all a delightful experienece would be keen to revisit this restaurant soon! Bookmarked!
