Great pies, but didnt like the fish and chips

This is one of my regular lunch venues and I must say they serve some of the best pies around town!The chicken and leek pie is highly recommenededI had the fish and chips once and wasnt keen on thisThe fish was tough and lacked flavour. When I informed the waitress she didnt do much to sort this out or give me a new serving. So I was a bit put off!Otherwise the globe is a generally a good place for drinks and standard pub fare
