Tucked away at Water Street, this small business shop is a comforting hut with a variety of good food. Visited this place with a friend recently and was pleasantly surprised with the food. The variation of dishes is wide and you can get anything from lamb chops to Japanese udon. I tried the rice with beef bites topped with an onsen egg. The variation of dishes is wide and you can get anything from lamb chops to Japanese udon. I tried the rice with beef bites topped with an onsen egg. The sauce was just an ordinary sweet sauce, but it was served separately for you to adjust the richness to your own liking, which was a nice touch. The meat was tender and flavourful while the egg was cooked nicely. You can tell the staff about your preference for the amount of rice you want which is another bonus since I am not a fan of too much rice!
I also had a few bites of the lamb chops which were also tender and juicy. The fries were crunchy but nothing too special. They do provide drinks for free if you show your student card which was very nice of them. Generally a pleasant dining experience! 💛
