Friendly and attentive staff. The proprietress was a perfect example of a warm, friendly Korean mom who loves to feed her guests. The 3 of us had the set meal which included a BBQ beef ribs, spicy pork, garlic prawns as well as kimchee pancakes, japchae and the most delicious spicy pork bone soup! This was my first time trying the pork bone soup but it was delicious. Can tell the bones have been simmered in the broth for hours rendering the meat on the bones all soft and making the soup full
The 3 of us had the set meal which included a BBQ beef ribs, spicy pork, garlic prawns as well as kimchee pancakes, japchae and the most delicious spicy pork bone soup! This was my first time trying the pork bone soup but it was delicious. Can tell the bones have been simmered in the broth for hours rendering the meat on the bones all soft and making the soup full of flavour. The beef ribs were well marinated and the portion was good enough for the three of us. The spicy pork bbq however was not that special, but grilled thinly sliced pork is never as tasty as beef. By the time we got to the garlic prawns, we were actually quite full already But nonetheless, we polished off the prawns too, which were fresh and the garlic adds a special kick to the grilled prawns.
The meal was accompanied by beer and makoli.
Recommend for anyone who enjoys a very friendly home-style Korean meal!
