Got 3 pcs of cut cake from the display fridge here for takeaway: Green tea cake $32This was the best among the three. The sponge cake got a rich matcha taste, the texture was very moist and fluffy, excellent! In between was 2 thin layers of red bean cream that gave a special aromatic sweetness and well complementing the strong green tea flavor. On top was a whole piece of big chestnut, cooked to the right sweetness and texture. Really a perfect and delicious match! Cherry cheese cake $30The l

The liquor tasted cherries used in a Black Forest cake is appealing to me, making me interested in this cherry and cheese combination. The cheese flavor was not outstanding, only set in a mousse texture instead of a full and creamy cheese layer. In the middle there was egg sponge and the cherries was nicely put on the bottom which was a butter cookie crust. Overall it tasted average, felt good that the crust was crunchy and the cherries were fresh and sweet.
Chocolate cheese tart $34
The top layer of chocolate mousse was smooth and creamy, yet I personally prefers a more rich and bitter taste. In the middle was a thin layer of chocolate sponge, separating the cheese layer at the bottom. The cheese was delicious, tasted a well balance of cream cheese, quark cheese and butter as used in an American cheese cake. The tart crust was good and crunchy too. Fresh raspberry, chocolate thins and fresh cream were nice garnishes.
