I was searching through OpenRice what to have nearby for a quick lunch with my groupmates and a friend of mine recommended this restaurant. It’s a small and cozy restaurant, luckily we came earlier around 1230 because after 1pm it’s full house and no walk-in is allowed unless you make an reservation. The lunch menu offered a variety of food, from western food eg burger and pasta to Japanese soba. My friend and I ordered the German pork schnitzel burger which came with fries, 2 ordered the Peri P
The lunch menu offered a variety of food, from western food eg burger and pasta to Japanese soba. My friend and I ordered the German pork schnitzel burger which came with fries, 2 ordered the Peri Peri half spring chicken, 1 ordered the Hoki burger and 1 ordered the carbonara fettuccini.
Carbonara with lamb! Something new to me and surprisingly it tasted okay, carbonara and lamb were pretty matched. The burger was okay, though the fries weren’t to my liking as they were bit mushy.
In overall, the food was pretty decent and the price was affordable. Give it a try if you happen to be in western district.
