Chocolate Fondue...now can we really go wrong with this combination?Being chocolate fiends, we appreciate anything chocolate and all things chocolate coated. When we heard about DK Cuppa Tea's GUILT FREE Dark Chocolate Truffle Fondue offering we were excited to try it out, and here ladies and gentlemens are our thoughts...You can clearly see an assortment of goodies: strawberries, bananas, yoghurt cheesecake bites in lavender, rose, bergamot and lemongrass flavours, lavender cheesecake, chestnut

The showstoppers were definitely the yoghurt cheesecake bites. Served cold and in cute bite size pieces the floral flavours were quite pronounced, not artificial in flavour, and definitely tasted great whether they were dipped or not in the fondue. Although cheesecake in general can be quite dense, the cake itself was light and not too overfilling which we did appreciate.

In addition to our fondue set, we were able to try some of their teas as well. Both with distinct flavour combinations, their respective chocolatey and fruity flavours really shone through. In comparison, sweet Paris would be leaning towards the sweeter side on its own without the addition of any sugars (which they do offer in Bergamot and Rosemary on each table) and soothing love encompassed more of that richer undertone of flavour in tea.
Towards the conclusion of our fondue set experience, we were even treated to a free skin consultation by an in house aromatherapist and we were gifted a 10ml bottle of facial oil specifically customised to our skin condition/skin type as well! It was definitely quite an experience seeing her mix the differing oils to create our own personalised serum and it was not something you'd expect them to offer seeing as we specifically came here to try out their chocolate fondue.
Lastly in terms of the environment, it was definitely chilled and laid back. The cafe itself isn't that big but despite having several tables and chairs it was overall very spacious and comfortable. We opted to sit in their lounge space (i.e. on the ground) and it was honestly quite unique and relaxing just to be sipping on hot tea and eating chocolate covered cheesecake bites whilst chilling on their giant pillows - definitely not something you'd find common in hong kong!
Overall, we had an enjoyable experience and would recommend it.
