What we really liked:
The view of the garden from the restaurant
And what not:
The food of the set meal
Food:
We ordered 1 Set Lunch for 78 HK$, which includes the salad buffet and two choices of soup, 1 main and 1 desert.
For main we had the choice of fish on cauliflower potatoes or grilled chicken.
We also ordered 1 ala cart item, the Tika Platter, including prawn, fish, salmon, chicken and lamb for 132 HK$.
Salad Buffet:
Average, 5 choices of salad with dressing, plus cold cut, plus single greenery. the pre made salads were a bit heavy on the vinegar side and to creamy, the greens were fresh and the cold cut Hong Kong standard.
Soup Buffet:
Clam chowder was average, nothing special, a nice amount of seafood, but the base tasted very "supermarket powder-ish".
Fish with Cauliflower Potatoes:
Uh, not good, you can tell this is a subsidized "Lunch Set". The portion is small, with 70% mashed poatatoe, and 30% too done, dry, fish. We didn't like it at all.
Tika Plate:
Best dish of the meal, a plate including multiple tika dishes, unfortunately only 1 lonely prawn and a lot of (cheap) lamb. The flavour was ok, much better than the meat from the lunch set. Tender sometimes even and done right with a lot of spices.
Desert
A coconut panna cotta with strawberry sauce. Flavour was good, topping was ok as well.
We didnt try the dinner meals yet, however asked the server if the quality would differ and they confirmed it's the same. While the location is nice and a very good timeout of the dirty and busy streets, surrounded by trees and green, the food is a no-go. The service was good not to forget.
