There were like more than 30 choices of traditional dim sum to choose from and if you can name it, they have it!
For the steamed dim sum, I ordered 8 different types, which were har gow, siu mai, quail egg siu mai, beef balls, spare ribs with X.O sauce, bean curd roll in soup, maa lai gou and assorted meat and chicken roll. They were ready at the dim sum trolley and we had to help ourselves there! The dim sum was steaming hot and they tasted so good!
They was shark fin soup too, but it’s imitation shark fin! Don’t kill the shark for the fin! It tasted just like the fin, yum! And HK famous street foods the curry fish ball, radish and squid. Not too strong flavourful of curry yet it’s decent.
There were some pan-fried dim sum too and I ordered turnip pudding, water chestnut pudding and stuffed green pepper, red pepper and eggplant with dace fish paste! There weren’t as oily as expected yet the portion was kinda big!
For the baked and fried dim sum and desserts, you have to tick on the order sheet and pass it to the waitress to place the order!
The fried dim sums were served and placed on the table for some time while my friend and I were chatting, surprisingly they were still crispy! Their egg tart, Dan san-crispy dough twist with honey, spring rolls and baked BBQ pork bun were DELICIOUS!
For their desserts, we didn’t order much, only ordered the white sugar pudding and osmanthus jelly. I love their osmanthus jelly so much till I ordered two times and finished them all by myself!
It’s a chill and cozy place to have dim sum unlike those traditional dim sum places with rude waitresses and loud and noisy crowds. I would definitely revisit for their scrumptious dim sum.
