It is not very often for me to go to Kwun Tong for food, even though I've heard quite some good things about the hidden gems here. I had some extra time to kill one morning and decided to come to Kwun Tong to kill off one of those cafes on my to-try breakfast list. Upon arrival, we were the only customers so we were a bit surprised. Perhaps there are too many cafes in Kwun Tong? The cafe was spacious with plenty of tables and the couches are quite comfy. The decors were lovely and It definitely seemed like a lovely and modern place to chill. We ordered Egg Benedict, Breakfast Fantasy and a cup of flat white.

The flat white came first but I forgot to take a picture since I was trying to avoid coffee. I took one afterwards and heard it was pretty average.

Egg Benedict $118
It took them really, really long to get our dishes out, which was kind of weird because we were the only customers. Not sure if I took too long in taking pictures of my food, but the food was kind of cold afterwards. Nevertheless the salad and dressing was fresh. I felt super healthy for having this breakfast. The bread was kind of a surprise that it wasn't a muffin or anything but it still tasted alright. Overall, this wasn't the egg benedict I would have expected but it was still not bad.

Breakfast Fantasy $138
The Breakfast Fantasy finally came after a few more minutes. It looked great! More veggies for us and the egg and sausages were pretty good. The price is similar to other cafes nowadays but I feel like this place has a unique touch to it and it was quite special.

Several customers came afterwards and ordered some coffee and food. We sat for a little while after we finished our food and we had to leave. Overall this place is quite unique, environment was awesome and the dishes were healthy and well presented. I wonder what took them so long in preparing the breakfasts as it would be difficult for people working in the office to dine here during the day. Watch your time if you're planning to come here and you would enjoy it if you're not in a rush.
