I have bought their bread previously and since then, i have always wanted to come back again for the bread, known for healthy. Today i was meeting with a client at Wanchai, and since i passed by this area i made it a point to buy some for my breakfast. They claim that they do not add any preservative to their bread, so as to let their customers have healthy bread. They claim that they do not add any preservative to their bread, so as to let their customers have healthy bread. Their baking process involved 20 hours of low temperature in the fridge to allow the bread to expand.
They were running a promotion currently, whereby customers will be entitled to a discount on their drink if they purchase any bread.
Besides bread, they do sell coffee and fruit tea as well.
Hot chocolate - I was quite surprised that the hot chocolate tasted quite good. The chocolate was thick and strong, with strong cocoa taste. It was sweet and smooth as well.
Coffee pineapple bun - The staff told me that if i wanted to toast it again, it will still be able to achieve 80% of their original result. When toasted, the bread was crispy on the outside and very soft inside. It was tasty, with slight coffee taste.
Truffle beef - There were alot of ingredients in this burger - lettuces, cucumbers, tomato, truffle and beef. The vegetables was fresh and the beef meat was strong as well. Luckily, the truffle taste was not too strong as to overwhelm the taste of the beef.
Ciabatta - This bread was highly recommended by the staff as it contained tomato and melting cheese as well. It was to target those who were health conscious. The bread was soft, with some cheesy taste.
