After working OT until very late, I have decided to come to this restaurant nearby my office for a quick dinner. Not my first time coming to this place. I have chosen the classic Yuen Nan soup based with rice noodle and pork belly, wonton, and deep fried fish ball ends.
It's best to have a bowl of hot noodles after a long day work. The pork belly is very thinly sliced with a good tenderness but it was not the best type of pork belly for sure. Among all three toppings I have chosen, the wonton was surprisingly good with a thin skin and great pork and veggie fillings overall.
It is close to my office, it is hot and spicy, a great way to wake myself up with hearty satisfying food. We do not need fancy fine dining to celebrate the day, we just need something that would make ourselves feel good after a tiring work day in the office, although my office has a full on sea view facing our beautiful Victoria Habour in Hong Kong.
What's not to love when you know how to appreciate small little things in the world?
