Hidden at the end of St Francis Street, J'aime bien Patisserie is an artsy dessert boutique. The shop owner definitely has a fascinating story to tell about why she opened this cafe. From what I read in the newspaper clipping display, she used to be an auditor, gave up her job to chase her dream and went to France to study the Le Cordon Bleu dessert course. Other than a paper menu, the owner also made a display of what dessert is available for the day with felt. Those 3-D felt display desserts are very attractive indeed! And the owner was so friendly in explaining all the 6 desserts to me, how they are made and taste. Very close to a fine dining experience.
