After getting some fine bread at Urban Bakery, I was a bit thirsty and since I didn't sleep the night before I needed something to boost my energy. Environment & Hygiene:This place is located in the basement of SOGO. There is a tiny bit of room on the side if you want to eat or have your drink there. This place is located in the basement of SOGO. There is a tiny bit of room on the side if you want to eat or have your drink there.
I've walked by this shop a few times, but it was usually after eating or something, so there was no excuse for me to stop.
Taste & Value:I wouldn't have minded a cold drink, but I wanted a drink with a Hello Kitty latte art, so I chose a Hot Latte (S $34). Although I'm not a Hello Kitty fan, I will admit that the latte art was very cute. The milk foam was just right. It was smooth and not too thick. Tastewise, the coffee was very balanced. I was expecting some bitter tasting cheap coffee taste, but it was not like that. It was a nice cup of latte that exceeded my expectations. However, I thought the price was a little expensive for the size.
Final Verdict:Acceptable coffee. I might eventually try their cakes.
