The french toast and pastries here are pretty top notch if you ask me. I usually stop by after browsing on Gold Fish Street for some afternoon snack. The afternoon tea set includes HK style french toast or any pastry and HK style milk tea. My favorite is the french toast as it is one of the best I've had in HK. The french toast and pastries here are pretty top notch if you ask me. I usually stop by after browsing on Gold Fish Street for some afternoon snack. The afternoon tea set includes HK style french toast or any pastry and HK style milk tea. My favorite is the french toast as it is one of the best I've had in HK. It arrives already garnished with condense milk, syrup and butter on top while other places requires you to add syrup yourself. The outside is crispy without being too hard while the inside is still soft. The peanut butter in the middle of the toast offsets the syrup perfectly. The milk tea is also great as it is smooth without being bitter or sour. It's the perfect chaser after the french toast.

 They also have freshly baked pastries coming out of the kitchen every now and then. You can't help but turn your head to follow the aromatic smell. The pineapple buns and egg tarts are also popular here and you can't go wrong with those either. 

I have tried some of their cooked food but they are just average. The french toast and pastries are the gem here at Hong Lin.
