Went here because I love these well-hidden cafes which make me explore different places that I would normally not go.Relax & Refresh is a pastel blue café which reminds me of this café in Sai Kung called Tea Break.It was nice there were other drinks as well as coffee and food.I was deciding whether to get the sourdough toast with cream cheese and jam or the sundried tomato paste and cheese but in the end I got the sundried tomato because I wasn’t sure how the cream cheese and sweet jam would tas
Relax & Refresh is a pastel blue café which reminds me of this café in Sai Kung called Tea Break.
It was nice there were other drinks as well as coffee and food.I was deciding whether to get the sourdough toast with cream cheese and jam or the sundried tomato paste and cheese but in the end I got the sundried tomato because I wasn’t sure how the cream cheese and sweet jam would taste together.
The toast was surprisingly good because the tomato paste was strong with a refreshing zing and unami aftertaste while the cheese was nice and stringy.
When I asked what cheese they used the guy came back with a piece of paper with Grano Padano written on it which was impressive.
They didn’t use some tasteless lame Mozzarella cheese.
Also on the toast was grated Parmesan which added to the cheesy flavour.
