Never been to Sheung Shui area during past trips to Hong Kong but a close friend insisted on showing me this place and I'm so thankful she did! Next we had the mains, we decided to all try different meats and ended up ordering a steak, lamb, and pork. Although these came out a bit slow, it was compensated by the friendly chef that came around socializing with every table. The dishes we had were all amazing and beyond our expectations! The meats were cooked perfectly and maintained a juicy, tender texture. The hefty portions justified the simplistic plating for sure.
Lastly the desserts were an unworldly experience, everything was delicious and decadent but not too heavy. Of course we had to try a souffle and the French ginger one did not disappoint, not being a typical fan of the ingredient I was hesitant but I'm very glad we had it, because it was subtle until you bit into a piece of the meat, and an overall amazing way to end the meal.
Overall, coming from Canada, this restaurant is definitely up there! For its location you never would have guessed the quality and care they put into their food. This is a tourist must go spot-besides the great food, you really experience a different side of Hong Kong and the business of its people!
