As I work in Sheung Wan,I usually have lunches and dinners nearby.I go to a restaurant where hidden in 2/F of a commercial building.As we plan to have some oysters,my friend and I decided to order a bottle of Cava to pair up with the oysters.This Cava from Spain is quiet matching with the oysters as it is the Brut ones.Its bubbles and light body make a well balance with the metalic and salty taste of oysters and therefore enhance freshness of the dishes. This Cava from Spain is quiet matching with the oysters as it is the Brut ones.Its bubbles and light body make a well balance with the metalic and salty taste of oysters and therefore enhance freshness of the dishes.
We had ordered mushroom toastes with black truffle pate($56) as an appetizer.Its quite crispy which is a good start for the dinner.
We also ordered another appetizer ---the chicken wings season by fermented red beancurd.($58).The chicken wings are quite tasty as they are hot,crisp with intense unique flavour of the fermented red beancurd.
We order three different types of oysters which quite fresh.The Posseus one is the tastiest one as its very creamy and sweet.Becuase this type of oyster is cultivated within the nutricious field that provide abundance nutrients for these oysters to growth healthily.
We ordered two main dishes.
The first main dish is the Charcoal grill US T-bone steak.($468).The T-bone steak is large in portion.Best shared by 2 people.It seasons well,good quality.Recommended order medium rare or even rare to ensure the steak serve juice and tender.
The second main dish is Spanish Paella($168).The rice is little overcooked so the texture is slight too sticky and flat.
We also order a smoked salmon and parma ham pizza.The taste is good but it will be better if the pizza stay in the oven for shorter time as the rim is slightly burned.
The staffs in this restaurant are very nice,helpful and responsive.The service over there is excellent.It is a good ,neat ,quiet place to chat with friends as the location is quite convenient just nearby G.O.D.
