Pic 1️⃣: Wagyu Rice - Mushroom Ragu, Taru Egg Yolk - $288 hkd 🥩🍚 — Favourite item of the night, mushroom rice base was super flavourful, and had a nice colour and aroma to it. A generous amount of Wagyu that melted in your mouth, super smooth and tender, though I think it lacked a “meatiness” flavour to it. I think this could’ve done with some extra “texture”? maybe something to add a bit of crunch or chew to it, as everything combined was quite soft and wet.Pic 2️⃣: Katsu Sando - Hokkaido Pork Bell

Pic 2️⃣: Katsu Sando - Hokkaido Pork Belly, Tonkatsu Sauce - $88 hkd
— This was alright, nothing super outstanding, everything in this was crunchy and clearly made to order. The pork belly wasn’t particularly flavourful and could’ve done with a bit more sauce. Overall slightly dry.

Pic 3️⃣: Cheese Sando - Asiago, Saor Relish- $108 hkd
— Literally felt like I was eating 1000 calories in this sando alone 😂 it was SO GREASY and HEAVY omg. Basically fried asiago cheese sandwiched between greased bread. I quite liked the addition of mustard to give it a little bit of a kick alongside the relish to balance out the greasiness and add some acidity.

Pic 4️⃣: Uni Toast - Nori Jam - $98 hkd for one
— More uni than expected tbh, the uni itself was alright, on a spectrum of good and bad uni i’d place this in the middle. The taste isn’t that rich but enough for it to come through. Was a nice bite to start off with!

Pic 5️⃣: Hojicha Panna Cotta - Roasted Hazelnuts - $58 hkd
— I don’t recommend ordering this. This was literally a pot of nuts? Where was the panna cotta in this? Also, this was barely a panna cotta and more of a mousse, but the hojicha flavour itself is average, not too strong but you can still slightly taste it. (This apparently comes in a larger pot but the chef ran out of those so this arrived in 2 tiny pots half filled with nuts)
