The food arrived promptly as there weren’t many guests. I longed to have deep-fried pork chop as I’m not a beef lover. I must confess that their pork chop is pretty nice! Usually deep-fried meat, especially pork, can turn out as really dry and stiff, and this ain’t the case for their pork chop to my surprise (though they looked dry). The proportion was pretty generous too (7-8 pcs). However, the taste of the pork wasn’t that flavourful, and the pickles served alongside made a great combination. I also tried having them with soy sauce, though the former tasted better in my opinion.

I chose their handmade noodles and was really impressed by its thickness & chewiness! The chicken broth also, wasn’t oily at all, which appeared healthier as well as more appetising. An overall nice for their noodles! It would certainly be better if there’s more veggies, just an opinion!

My friend had their beef noodles with tendon & shank. The beef was really tender and soft, definitely worths a try! Their drinks, though, were just fair and nothing special.
One reason why I rated a satisfactory grade for this restaurant is their service. I love how meticulous the staff were while serving us. While placing the noodles for us, the staff member carefully turned the bowl, having their printed name on the bowl facing the customer. Another considerate part was that they attentively asked if we would like to have a plate covering up our bowls of noodles (as some of our friends still hadn’t arrived when the noodles were served). It was rare to find such excellent service nowadays, and you could feel being treated with care.
I seldom comment on restaurants’ music, but I really liked their choice of playing soothing piano music. Taiwanese cuisines usually have pop songs to keep the vibes, what they offered was a more simplistic and comfortable experience for the diners.
It was a surprisingly pleasant experience dining in here, and we’ll surely return in the future.
