As for The Stoep you eat in your beach gear, sand between your toes, kids running riot, parents chilling out, gweilos trying to get a tan, honkers trying to avoid it, shrieks everyway.

We had squid in chilli sauce (great), minced pork meat in lettuce wraps (even better) for starters followed by a green chicken curry (good) and seafood pineapple fried rice (great) with a pint of lager. The whole family was satisfied and then ready to go a sit in the surf on the beach again whle not moving to much...
