You have to reserve in advance for this free flow afternoon tea. The map link in Openrice page is not correct though the address is correct so you have to copy and paste the address to google map to find the place.The cafe at UG so you have to take the stairs.All items in the menu could be refilled in 90 minutes, including food and drinks and you can choose different drinks each time.Our tea set came and all the items looked delicious with an elegant tea tray. All items in the menu could be refilled in 90 minutes, including food and drinks and you can choose different drinks each time.
Our tea set came and all the items looked delicious with an elegant tea tray. We refilled for 3 rounds for everything as it was all good and the last round we refilled the savory items. You can say this is a afternoon tea buffet and high tea wrapped into one.
All desserts were not too sweet, which made refilling much more easier. For desserts, I loved the mango tart the most(the mango despite cut into small pieces were still quite juicy) while my friend loved the caramel cake.
For the savory, I loved the shrimp avocado tart while my friend was impressed by their salmon toast despite she is not salmon fan.
The drinks were equally impressive. I tried their lime mint soda, espresso tonic and cafe latte. Their lassana coffee was definitely impressive and I really recommend their Espresso tonic. My friend had the vanilla earl grey latte and flat white, which she loved as well.
The price was definitely a bargain. They don't have service charge so the price for the afternoon tea set is exactly $398(less than $200). Their service was also superb. When they confirm the booking the day before, they kindly remind us that the Openrice address is correct but the link to the google map provided by Openrice and the indication for H exit at Central is wrong and will tell you how to get there. Their refill speed was also really quick and they will kindly remind you when is the last order. If the place is not full, you don't have to leave after 90 minutes and you can chill for a while before leaving.
