Happy Friday dinner, we went for this little café in Tai Kwun as they could still take last minute booking . We had ordered the escargot for starter, a seabass and a hanger steak sandwich with fries for main and ended with a dessert of crème brulee. As it was quite chilling, I also ordered a black tea. The staff were nice and friendly. They were prompt in taking order and all that. The thing now lies in the food. Honestly, the food was rather mediocre. The escargot was obviously those ready-made

Honestly, the food was rather mediocre. The escargot was obviously those ready-made oven one that lacks much taste in it. The hanger steak sandwich was alright. The fries were a bit cold and the sandwich bread was too stale, Seabass was fortunately fine with a crispy skin. The English tea served with a Chinese restaurant teapot seems a bit off. It’s a bit weird. The crème brulee was alright, would have been better if the vanilla pod could be more even.
