1. After having dinner in D2 Place, my friend and I were craving for a dessert. However, it was almost 9pm, and most of the restaurants in D2 Place close at 9pm, we needed to look for a dessert place. So happen this newly opened cafe, which is nearby (6-min walk), popped up on Openrice, so we decided to try it out.2. Cafe Uzume actually servers proper dinner. 3. This Hojicha Chiffon Cake I chose was served with a cute little dog toy on the side (we really want to take it home!!!) licking the strawberry sauce.
4. The chiffon cake is really spongy, and actually quite dense in a good way. It’s also light in a way that it would not make you feel stuffy.
5. The hojicha sauce on top is also very delicious, not too bitter but has a heavy tea flavour. I personally prefer hojicha more than matcha.
