I heard about this hidden Japanese teahouse located above an atheletics shop from social media and I wanted to try their Japanese flavored ice creams like hojicha, matcha and sake. Besides ice cream, they also sell green tea roll cakes which requires advance order, traditional tea leaves, and cookies. Hojicha Ice Cream ($20) - very icy with ice particles literally on the surface of the ice cream. I was told to wait 10 mins as it was too cold but it was still rock hard after that. Temperature issues aside, the hojicha flavor was quite strong and prominent so it does have potential. A nice little substitute for those who miss the hojicha ice cream from Via Tokyo. [3.5/5]
