Whenever ones' think of pizza, Pizza Hut & Paisano's Pizzeria will definitely come to their mind first. It was Christmas Eve today and western food is a must. Our plan for this year was to grab some take-away food and enjoy our dinner at home with our loved ones. We happened to be around Kwun Tong area and heard that there was a fast-food style pizza store selling decent food at very reasonable pricing. Pizza Super was located in housing estate, some 15 minutes walk from Kwun Tong MTR.
Store was quite big in size and operates on a self serivce system. From my observation, they do delivery to those nearby places as well.
As there were only 3 of us eating, i go for their Monday to Friday set, at a price of $148. It comes with a large pizza, pasta, 2 pieces of deep fried chicken & garlic bread. Since it was Christmas Eve today, every places will be full of people and expensive as well. Their set was very value for money.
I ordered their all in one pizza, which consists of onion, green pepper, pepperoni, ham, mushroom, pineapple, beef and pork. There are alot of ingredients in it and comes with 8 slices. As the weather was cold, the food turns cold once we reach home. We had to reheat them before eating. Pizza tastes almost same as Pizza Hut, thick crust and crispy.
As for the garlic bread, it was normal at best. It was slightly hard and does not have much garlic taste in it.
We were given drumstick and thigh meat, apiece each. Chicken was tasty and soft on the inside, crsipy skin on the outside.
Spaghetti bolognaise was very dry, even with those sauce on top on it for us to mix them well. There were pepperoni & minced beef sauce on it. It was placed in a aluminium box, to preserve the heat. For the price, there were nothing much i could find fault on. For people passing by at area, it was a place worth visiting for.
