Since we joined Holy Crab’s grand opening party the day before, my girlfriends and I decided to book a table and try their awesome food that everyone’s been talking about. Holy Crab is the first and only restaurant in central offering fresh live Cajun style seafood. Also, I really miss how good my hands would smell after eating low country boil style food. Atmosphere
Makes people feel really comfortable because of the friendly full of big smile staffs, soft and comfortable leather sofa, spacious seatings, big and clean woody table, nautical style decorations and the “wok” light!! which I think is very clever speaking from the point of view of an interior designer.
The bathroom is another star of the design. Words won't explain how clever it is! You have to see it yourself.
FoodWe are all seafood lovers. I have heard good reviews of the “Lobster 3 way”, “ Dungeness Crab” and the oysters. So we ordered all those for 4 people, which is more than enough definitely. We were given cute bibs and wooden mallet to crack the shells. I love how thick the apron is, very high quality and looks very cute in pictures! However,I don’t recommend using their wooden mallet to bash through the shells as it won’t work!! It looks cute but won’t work. We have to ask for scissors to crack through the shells.
Lobster 3 way
We all give a big thumbs up! Because my friends hand-pick the lobster from Holy Crab’s rock pool, of course we decided to pick the largest one which we picked a 6-pound lobster!!! HAHA! It’s the largest on in the pool. Everything on this plate is a super star, from the Cajun fried lobster nuggets, cheesy lobster dip with sourdough, fresh steamed claws and knuckles served with a dozen crawfish, corn and Andouille sausage.
