Honestly, a pretty horrible experience at this restaurant. I didn't have extremely high expectations at the first place, but seeing it has so many good reviews on Openrice I expected it at least to be normal.To begin with, the environment of the place is very mediocre. Floor was slippery, corridor a bit too narrow. The washroom is completely unacceptable, worst I have seen in a cafe restaurant.The menus were dirty, torn and wet. To begin with, the environment of the place is very mediocre. Floor was slippery, corridor a bit too narrow. The washroom is completely unacceptable, worst I have seen in a cafe restaurant.
The menus were dirty, torn and wet. My friends and I ordered either the Traditional All Day Breakfast, Scottist-Irish Blend or the Lunch F. Linguini with slow-cooked egg. The Linguini, albeit very blend and tasteless, was already the best. The breakfasts were really really bad. It seems to me that the chef has not really tried actual British all day breakfasts. The Portabello was dry, stale and sour. Black pudding was too soft it is disgusting. The scrambled eggs were overcooked.
Coffee was watery, and spilled to the saucer.
In all seriousness, this is nothing personal, but I don't think this restaurant should continue serving people.
