my friend and I went there recently and i regret wasting my time and money there. firstly, they completely ignored us by not giving us a menu to look at. we originally thought they didn’t see us at first but then i saw 2 other groups sit on their own just like us and they made sure that they got the menu. then, after we ordered our drinks and food, the blond guy with tattoos slammed our drinks and foods on the table and just walked away, completely ignoring us. we thought he was having a bad day
firstly, they completely ignored us by not giving us a menu to look at. we originally thought they didn’t see us at first but then i saw 2 other groups sit on their own just like us and they made sure that they got the menu. then, after we ordered our drinks and food, the blond guy with tattoos slammed our drinks and foods on the table and just walked away, completely ignoring us. we thought he was having a bad day at first. sure it’s bad service but if he did that to everyone, it should confirm the bad day theory but nope! he was extra nice to a group of people next to us where he placed their food nicely on the table and was kind of flirty too. there was also another woman with a dog and the same guy offered to fill up the dog bowl with water, held the bowl for the dog to drink and even pet him for some time. to be honest, he shouldn’t even be touching any dogs if he’s handling customers’ food and drinks which is UNHYGIENIC. he also was generous enough to help them settle into a completely different seat so the dog was more comfortable. clearly, he respected the dog more than us!!
Anyway, as for the food, we had lattes and the latte art was messed up but it was decent while the iced matcha latte was trash. the matcha powder wasn’t mixed well so i could still see/taste the powder chunks in it and it was also bitter and usually they always offer sugar with the lattes which is the least you can do for an overpriced $55 latte but they were busy walking away. the food was ok but not good enough to excuse the bad service so would NOT recommend.
And the only difference I can think of between us and the other customers was that we didn’t look like a “local” so do what you will with that information
