Horrible Service & Atmosphere

My friend and I came to this cafe to chat & do some planning with our laptop after recommendations from a friend. I would NOT recommend this cafe/restaurant. First of all, we went in the afternoon on a weekday so there were many spots available. We were first put at this small tiny table for 2. My friend and I came to this cafe to chat & do some planning with our laptop after recommendations from a friend. I would NOT recommend this cafe/restaurant. First of all, we went in the afternoon on a weekday so there were many spots available. We were first put at this small tiny table for 2. After requesting if we could just move over to a larger table because we can't fit both laptops AND both plates of food on the table, the waitress hesitantly just moved another small table that was beside us to merge it together. Secondly, the music was SO loud. The speaker was close by, but it was ridiculously loud for a cafe. We could not hear each other even though we were trying to talk louder. Made me get a headache after sitting there for awhile. Thirdly, their service was really bad. The waitress looked like she didn't want to work or do anything. Didn't even come by to ask if we wanted to refill our waters. Or just come by at all to ask how we're doing. And the 10% service charge was already included in the bill. 

The food was okay. We both ordered their pancakes which my friend said they were known for it. It tasted okay, nothing too special or amazing. It was fluffy though. But utensils wise, for some reason the utensil tray only came with one knife. We had to reach over to the next table to grab their knife from their utensil tray, which also came with one knife only. I don't understand how tables of 2 can come with 2 spoons, 2 forks and only 1 knife and 1 napkin. Do they expect us to share the knife AND the napkin? 

For the price of the food at this restaurant and the fact tha the 10% service charge was included in the bill, this place is definitely NOT worth your money. The service was bad, the atmosphere was bad, and food was just mediocre. I do not recommend if you want a relaxing time and experience to chill and chat with your friends.
