My friend and I booked the restaurant for a special dinner menu at Restaurant Week through Dining City. The booking was made like a week before the date of dinner. We were in high anticipation of the dinner because the restaurant seems to have good reviews and the menu for that night looked special. However, we were so mistreated by the staff there and in the end we decided to walk away. Worse still, the restaurant LIED and reported to Dining City that we DID NOT SHOW UP - so the wrong of the non-fulfillment of our booking was on the customer!!

To go into the details, I went to the restaurant around 5 minutes before the booking time. The staff checked me in, while my friend was on her way rushing to the restaurant. We were given seats at a bar table which were extremely small and uncomfortable, chairs were short and we would not be able to properly eat when the table was so up there. I was very upset about the seating arrangement, because we have booked the restaurant for dinner like a week ago and still we could not be given a proper dining table. We were not going there for drinks!! I requested another seat and was then given the sofa area, which again with a tiny table and one of the chairs did not even have any back support. Who can dine there for 2 hours?? We did not expect that a restaurant of this caliber weren't even providing guests with proper table and chairs if they joined the Restaurant Week and claim that they have dinner menus!!

I talked to the staff and the staff's attitude was horrible. They claimed that: "oh yeh you booked a week ago but there were so many people who booked like a month ago!" So basically they asked us to live with it! The staff also said that the Restaurant Week page bookings are usually pushed BEHIND normal bookings, and hence they would never be able to give us a proper dining table even if we booked like a week ago. So damn pissed with such response, and so disrespectful. As both me and my friend felt so angry, I walked out of the restaurant after talking to her to look for another restaurant for dinner. The staff didn't even bother to apologize and stared at me with despise and contempt as I went!!! What sort of restaurant is this!?!!

This is the worst dining experience ever, and it was made even worse by the restaurant telling lies about its customers. I have also reported this to Dining City.
