Horrible shanghainese food

First impression, the store looks clean and new so decided to try it. I ordered five spice beef noodle with 5 pieces of pan fried dumpling from lunch set for $67. They use beef ribs so it was tender and delicious but the noodle and the soup was flavourless. The fried dumplings were plain and the skin was as thick as a cardboard 🤨In conclusion, i’d recommend crystal jade/paradise dynasty for a safer option if you want shanghainese in the neighborhood
