I went there 2 days ago celebrating my friend's birthday. They were in their German Oktober Fest theme and it was the most "French" German meal I have ever had in my life! I went there 2 days ago celebrating my friend's birthday. They were in their German Oktober Fest theme and it was the most "French" German meal I have ever had in my life! Fancy presentation, petite serving and doesn't even taste good enough to deserve that mock off kinda price.

We ordered a Farmer's bread and a Pretzel to start with...and it took us 3 times of checking before it came. Their Farmer's bread was not even a real farmer's bread but just some form of bread basket. The bread was not fresh and was not even re-heated correctly (you can taste that it was popped into the microwave until it was almost burned) and when we asked the waiter whether they baked their own bread, they admitted that they don't.

Then, we ordered a sausage dish and it came as slides of sausage instead of a real sausage. They were even stingy enough to give you only a spoon full of Sauerkraut and potatoes as sides! As you can see in the picture, they dare to call this a PLATTER - in the menu it said a platter of 2 KINDS of sausage as your choice... it turned out the WHOLE platter consisted of only 2 sausage.

I lived in Germany for years and have dined in multiple German restaurants in Hong Kong. NEVER EVER did I come across such way of serving German food. This seems to me a rip off for the locals who don't know any better. Strongly recommend you NOT TO GO. If you want to have real German food, go to a real German restaurant.

One thing to mention to be fair... the view and the ambience was good.
