Lex Coffee stands out for its trendy and pleasant environment among the buzzling area of Kennedy Town. It is known for providing excellent artistic coffees that are made on a high healthy standard, which is a unique cooperated innovation by the Coffee Pro training center and Wheelock Gallery West showcasing some winning photos at the cafe.
The place is very decent-looking with a four-meter high ceiling, open and elegant space and comfy furnitures, and I am surprised by the small but distinctive menu, serving pasta, mains, all day breakfast and desserts such as suckling pig with roasted pineapple, Tom Yum seafood risotto, egg benedict and red wine poached pear.

The blue mussels spaghetti has a generous parmesan shaving and a sprinkle of hot pepper flakes, whereas the breakfast plate is pretty standard with scramble egg and black truffle paste, grilled sausages and bacon, roasted pineapple and a piece of juicy portobello mushroom.

We actually like the side salad a lot with an impressive thick mango dressing, similar to the mango crabmeat salad, with two pieces of whole grain toasts topped with lump of curry-flavored crabmeat.The must-order goes to the signature Lex drink, comes with steamed hot milk to pour into your choice of either coffee or chocolate ice cube. I also love the spoonful of orange zest which gives a refreshing infusion.
