Hotpot instinct - good for freshness

Ventured here as hubby and me felt like hotpot. Seemed ok but they put us on a very cramped seating space in a corner.. We would have preferred a larger table given hub and me always order alot. Ordered their special beef, lamb, specialty balls and veg. Price wise it wasnt cheap to us but for the soup base we chose that cost 58.. The taste was seriously lacking. The only good thing I felt of the steamboat was when they served the oysters hey were super huge like the size of my palm and hk108 gives u 5 or 6 oysters! The speciality beef was tasteless and the only other nice thing was they allowed u to mix your own sauce and only upon bill payment did we realize we were charged for that too! Anyway I would only go in a large group and only if they gave me a larger table in future. Service wise I think it was ok and they have English menu. Not sure if there is a diff between the pricing of English and mandarin menu like some places.
