To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. How come they have 2 stars for so many years for such quality of food and services?!Food1. Eveything tonight was too salty. It wasnt like this before2. They failed to devein prawns properly. This is utterly unacceptable in such a Canton cuisine 老字號3. If they dont know how to make fusion cuisine, then better just stick with traditional Canton cuisine. The kimichi pork was horrible. How come they have 2 stars for so many years for such quality of food and services?!

1. OK if this is not a Michelin star restaurant
2. Waiters are not familiar with their menu and ingredients of their dishes. This is unacceptable for a 2-stars restaurant.
3. They dont know how fine dining should be. They just put down the dishes without explaining or introducing them. This is not what a 2-stars restaurant should be.

I guess I should go to Michelin star restaurants in hotel only in future. 新同樂 definitely has no service on par with their peers.
