My wife commented that it has been a long while since we have tried Taiwanese food, thus she suggested to have Du Hsiao Yueh for dinner tonight. Sea clams with ginger soup - The soup was sweet and clear, with light ginger taste. Clams was big and juicy, chewy as well.

Steamed cod fish with pickled seeds - One of the highlight is this dish. Cod fish was very soft and smooth, even softer than the tofu, almost melting in my mouth. It was steamed till very tasty, of healthy version. Not much sauce was added, to preserve the original taste of it.

Grilled pepper pork - It was grilled till the edges was slightly charred and has very strong black pepper taste. It was chewy, with fair bits of fat on it. Sauce helped to enhance the flavour too.

Dan zai thick rice noodles - Thick rice noodles was smooth and chewy, and the soup was tasty, with the minced pork enhancing the taste. A small piece of prawn was added to it too.

Fried rice with sakura shrimps and ginger - The presentation was very vibrant and colourful, with sakura shrimps adding to it. Sakura shrimps helped to make the rice more flavourful and fragrant, and rice was fried till chewy and soft too.
