Cold winter and Christmas time made me miss my trip to Northern Europe before the pandemic 🥲 This cafe reminded me of that extra warm and cozy feeling whenever I stepped indoor in the freezing weather. Stayed very much true to Nordic style (and price too😂), Nordic classics like cinnamon bun, meatballs, smorrebrod and hot chocolate completes their menu.

Okay, it’s gigantic, it’s bigger than their main dishes. A Nordic classic, no crazy cream cheese frosting, relatively denser and firmer in texture but the cinnamon and cardamom aroma is good. Personally like softer more tender kind.
Svamp | Mushroom smorrebrod $118
Nordic dense rye bread, made with whole grain dark rye with a slightly yeasty flavor from the fermentation with crunch from the seeds. Totally get why it’s so thinly cut, because it’s really dense and heavy. The pan roasted ‘hen in the wood’ mushroom, which is very earthy and a wild mushroom, very nice seasoning. Personally would prefer not having the creme fraiche.
Hot chocolate $50 (oat milk)
Already spoiled by those specialty chocolate out there, this is rather mundane one.
