Boyfriend and I decided to find a place called 開餐 (English name: Dine Inn) as we had heard it was interestingly decorated. Located in Jordan, there was a few people waiting for a table. We waited but as people did eat quickly, we didn't wait too long.Menu is in Chinese only. There is no 10% service charge and you pay on your way out. If you order a rice or noodle dish, you can get a healthy herbal tea for $10. I decided to get one: a golgi longon tea. It was pretty good. The perfect amount of sweetness and packed with golgi berries and longon.
Boyfriend ordered the sweet and sour ribs with rice topped with pig lard ($57). Portion was large. The sweet and sour sauce was a bit on the sour side. The ribs were moist enough.
I had the salt and pepper pork chops with rice topped with salty egg yolk and spring onions ($57). Again portions were large. The pork chops were well seasoned and not over cooked. Though some parts were a bit oily.
Food portions were large and definitely not expensive. But food was just average tasting. I did like the drink which was really good. The place wasn't too tidy though. Probably won't be back.
