I live near this Japanese shop which is best known for its palatable cream puffs but I only have been walking past it near lunch or dinner time so have not really got a chance to grab something there to satisfy my sweet tooth. Feeling peckish, I went for 5 puffs just to treat my family - chosen were the newly arrived peach custard ($27), and apple crumble ($ 29), as well as the classic Hokkaido milk ($ 25), chestnut ($28), and blueberry yoghurt ($26). Consistent with what I remembered, the shop
Consistent with what I remembered, the shop is generous with the portion and it is such a challenge for me to pick a favourite as all of them really suited my palate. However, of course, if I have to crown a winner, it would be one of the two newly arrived specials as I always have a passion for custard and apple / cinnamon.
It was such a satisfying feeling carrying a box worth of desserts to surprise my loving family who are all so infatuated with Japanese goods!
