The Jockey looks like a very British pub with framed pictures of race horses on the wall and televisions that play sports such as soccer, rugby, tennis or racing. I had only planned to have drinks there until the server brought out a tray with ten mini burgers for us. Apparently on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, you get free mini burgers with the purchase of two beverages. They were delicious- very juicy and thick.

The menu has typical pub food such as fish & chips, pies, and pasta as well as many selections of burgers such as BBQ sauce, swiss and avocado, bacon and blue cheese, or a monthly feature. I ordered the monthly burger feature ($138), which was a French inspired burger with gruyere cheese and caramelized onions. It arrived with fries, lettuce and tomato on the side, and was perfectly cooked to medium rare. It was so big that I could only eat half of it and the server boxed the rest of it for me to take home.

The wait staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is charmingly cozy though it could get a bit noisy because the pub isn't very large. My only criticism is that all of the front seating area is allowed for smoking so if you are bothered by smoke you will have to sit inside.
Other Info. : free mini burgers with drinks purchases on Tuesday and Thursday, various drink and food specials. Outdoor front seating is pet friendly.
