A small restaurant located in the seaside of Kennedy town, Chino is an interesting restaurant that merges the spirits of Mexican and Japanese food. Started off with some chips and Guacamole which was delicious.
And the a market fish ceviche which to me seemed more sashimi than a ceviche. Pretty nice presentation too.
I saw on the menu an eggplant katsu, which is very interesting. Eggplants fried in the porkchop in a katsu don is quite creative. Tastes pretty good but yes a little oily.
Unfortunately the main was indeed a little anticlimactic, I thought it was the least interesting dish because it's a little tasteless. This was a little disappointing given this was like the dish I was most looking forward to.
All in all a nice place and I'd like to come again.
